Endodontic Retreatment

With good care, your root canal treated teeth will last as long as your other teeth. However, nothing lasts forever.  If the seal protecting your root canal breaks down, the tooth will become reinfected. In these cases, Endodontic Retreatment may be necessary.

Once retreatment has been selected as a solution to your problem, the doctor will reopen your tooth to gain access to the root canal, examine and clean the inside of the tooth, then refill and seal the canals.
